Pyramid Brew Co.

This was the first brewery I visited, and remains one of my favorites. Unfortunately, because of time constraints I wasn't able to tour it, but Cori and I did get the opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal and brews.

The place was huge. It was probably a good 3 square blocks in size, and actually occupies what used to be a Greyhound bus production center. The coolest thing about the Pyramid Alehouse was that inside, the brewery and restaurant are separated by a huge, two-story glass wall. As such, while you're eating you can literally see the brewers making beer. Really cool. And the place is very nicely decorated inside and out.

I had a couple beers, all of which were exceptional. The two best ones were the Draught Pale Ale (available only on tap) and the IPA, which was hoppy and very delicious. For dinner, we had a pizza and a huge plate of nachos, which almost did us in. Man was it good.

I'm not sure what else to say; the place was fun, had a great atmosphere, and the beer was delicious. What more could you ask for?! If you're ever in the Bay Area, make sure to check it out.
